HighDefLace is crafted from finer materials that create an exceptionally soft, transparent finish for a seamlessly natural look. Due to the lace being more delicate, it requires gentle handling and attentive care to maintain its integrity.

CLEANSE & CONDITION

• Before washing, gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb
• Wet hair completely using cool running water
• Gently lather the hair with a small amount of synthetic shampoo, making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. Do not rub hair; this will cause tangling
• Rinse thoroughly under cool running water until water runs clear
• Wrap wig or hairpiece in a towel and gently pat dry
• Gently detangle hair using a wide tooth comb
• Apply leave-in conditioning spray (3-5 pumps) keeping away from base

DRY & STYLE

• Allow wig or hairpiece to air dry naturally by placing on a plastic or wire wig stand. Do not blow dry. Air drying provides the best results. Ensure the cap is completely dry before wearing, storing, or displaying
• Apply heat-friendly detangling spray (3-5 pumps) focusing on the bottom half of wig or hairpiece. Gently comb through using a wide tooth comb
• Only a wide tooth comb should be used on HD fiber. Other tools will cause frizzing/tangling
• HD fiber can withstand heat up to 350° F; however, it is recommended to work at 270°-280° F
• It is recommended to use professional grade heat styling tools with digital temperature settings to control heat

STORAGE

• Place on a wig stand or mannequin head that is smaller to maintain the cap shape and prevent stretching.
• Store in a cool, dark area away from direct sunlight to prevent drying or weakening of the lace.
• Avoid heat sources (bathrooms, styling stations, windows) to help preserve the softness and integrity of the lace.
• Heat Friendly synthetic fibers can tangle and frizz with wear. Frizz should be corrected early to avoid permanent damage to the fiber. Use a flat iron to smooth any frizz before washing. Regular detangling is important for overall product longevity, as tangles left untreated may require repeated pulling, which can create tension and gradually stretch the base material and lace over time. Use a detangler and a wide tooth comb daily to detangle. Be mindful when detangling around the hairline and delicate lace.

TO CURL OR SMOOTH

• Heat the curling or flat iron to 270°-280° F (132°–138°C).
• Gently remove any tangles using a wide tooth comb. Avoid tugging or pulling around the hairline and lace.
• Starting at the nape, take .5”–1.5” sections of hair.
• Apply heat protectant spray on each section to protect the fiber (1-2 pumps per section).
• Allow product to dry before applying hot styling tool.

TO CURL

• Gather hair into curling iron, smooth through to the ends. Roll the iron up towards the base of the wig or hairpiece, staying 1-2” away. No tugging or pulling.
• Hold for 10-15 seconds, then turn the tip of iron toward the ground and release curl into palm of hand.

Designed in an Average cap size with adjustable tabs for customizable circumference sizing and bendable wire silicone tabs for a secure fit.

How to use

Gently detangle with a wide tooth comb before washing in cool water with synthetic shampoo. Allow the wig to air dry on a stand, and style using heat tools set between 270°F and 280°F.
